That's right. Finished my first leg. 7.3 miles in the dark on the C and O canal path. Dark and lonely, but IPOD was there to keep me company. It is strange how this is a team event but when you are out there in the middle of nowhere, by your self, it is a bit freaky. Thank goodness for lamps and vests and blinking red lights. Chach is running now and when he finishes all of team beer run will have finished leg one. Only two more to go. It is going to be a long night. Van 1, we are on our way.
